Our Historic Victorian Era Bed & Breakfast
Since 1846, the Milliken House has stood watch over the coastal waters of Eastport, Maine and Passamaquoddy Bay, and as a bed and breakfast, we have preserved this rich history, while still providing our guests with all of the modern comforts.
Each of our 6 guest rooms are beautifully furnished to maintain their period charm, and are complete with full private baths, and a personal fireplace, as well as cable television in the large double living room.
Immediately upon entering the Milliken House Bed and Breakfast, one is struck with the beauty and grandeur of the architecture, painstakingly maintained in order to preserve the history of our home. The front entrance hall and stairway reflect the 1850’s trend of the Victorian revival, featuring the lush, spacious interiors of the era. The large, double living-room with two marble fireplaces provides comfortable seating for lounging, reading and cable television. All bed-rooms are furnished with antique furniture with lovely carved head-boards. This Victorian Renaissance bed-stead is part of a rare five-piece matching set.
All of our guests are treated to a large breakfasts, sumptuously prepared and elegantly served in our period dining-room, complete with our large, heavy carved table to complete the classic ambiance.
